Mock court hearing on a civil case
Recently, the staff of the Department of International and European Law at WUNU organised a mock court hearing in a civil case, which proved to be a major event for the students and all those involved in the educational process.
Grand ceremony to award master’s diplomas to graduates of the Faculty of Law
A graduation ceremony was held at the picturesque Zbarazh Castle to award diplomas to graduating students of the Faculty of Law of West Ukrainian National University. Graduates in the fields of ‘Law’, ‘International Law’ and ‘Law Enforcement’ received their diplomas.
Representatives from WUNU met with representatives from the United Kingdom
Yuliia Palaniuk, Head of the International Relations Office, Yuliia Kmet, Senior Specialist at this office, and Olga Tsaryk, Director of the International Centre for Culture and Development at WUNU, met with Svitlana Yavorska, Head of the Lviv Office of the British Embassy in Ukraine, and Tom Miscioscia, Director of the British Council in Ukraine.

A regional event entitled ‘Education and the Labour Market: A Strategy for Social Partnership’ held at WUNU
WUNU hosted a regional event entitled ‘Education and the Labour Market: A Strategy for Social Partnership’. The event was organised by the National Qualifications Agency in partnership with West Ukrainian National University. The event brought together representatives of government bodies, the education community, employer associations, education quality institutions, employment centres and businesses to discuss what modern education should look like in order to meet the challenges of the times, the needs of the economy and the expectations of society.
Launch of the ‘Fundamentals of European Integration’ training series as part of the ‘Jean Monnet Chair in European Integration at WUNU’ project
A new educational project is starting at West Ukrainian National University — a series of training sessions entitled ‘Fundamentals of European Integration’, initiated by the staff of the Jean Monnet Chair in European Integration. The programme is being run by the B. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations and will take place from 10 April to 30 June 2026.
