WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 On 27 January 2026, West Ukrainian National Universityy hosted a seminar with Paul Meerts, a member of the steering committee of the International Negotiation Processes programme (PIN) at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, founder of POINT — a network of trainers and coaches in international negotiation in the public sector, professor at Leiden University, and international negotiation analyst (Netherlands).

 This weekend, the Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience at WUNU became an oasis of strength, awareness and inner peace in these difficult times. In times of crisis, it is essential to have effective tools that help us maintain our equilibrium and support those around us.

 On 8 January 2026, the Department of Audit of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the West Ukrainian National University held the First International Scientific Discussion Platform ‘Accounting, Taxation and Control: Theory and Methodology’, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of West Ukrainian National Universityy. Within the framework of the platform, professional discussions were held on current issues of accounting, taxation and control. The event contributed to the strengthening of international scientific cooperation, the development of scientific research activities and the exchange of experience between representatives of the academic community and practitioners in the relevant field.

 On 19–20 December 2025, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University hosted an international scientific seminar entitled ‘Security in Law,’ dedicated to a comprehensive understanding of the legal aspects of security in the context of contemporary global challenges.

 Kyiv hosted Eastern Europe's largest fintech conference, UAFIN.TECH 2025, which brought together leading international financial market experts, representatives of the banking sector, business structures and investors to share their vision for the further development of Ukraine's financial ecosystem. This event is a professional platform for generating ideas that determine the strategic directions for the development of the financial industry in Ukraine and worldwide.

 As part of the educational platform ‘International Relations and Diplomacy: British Guest Lectures,’ a lecture-training session on ‘Right-wing Populism’ was held by British expert, principal lecturer and Subject Chair in Politics, International Relations and International Development at Portsmouth University (United Kingdom).

 As part of a series of practical training sessions for students enrolled in the International Relations programme offered by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at the B. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations, a practical training session entitled ‘How to Become Ukraine's Voice in the World’ will be held.

 Students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting – members of the Finance and Accounting English Club majoring in Accounting and Taxation (D1) and Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market (D2) – took part in the international online version of the CIMA Business Game.

 The Department of Foreign Languages and ICT of WUNU and students of the Philology programme immersed themselves in the world of effective communication at an exclusive training session entitled ‘How to speak publicly in English’!

 On 3 December 2025, at 11:10 a.m., a problem-based lecture entitled ‘Cornerstones of Ukraine's economic recovery strategy based on sustainable development: a view from Poland’ will be held as part of the School of Effective Management Leaders.
