WUNU students in the global educational space. Launch of the international COIL project

 In the second semester, the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU, in collaboration with the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT, Canada), launched an international educational project called COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning).



Master's program in Japan for researchers and civil servants. JICA scholarship for 2026

 West Ukrainian National Universityy encourages young scientists and promising practitioners to apply for a long-term study program in Japan, supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).



The European Law Library has received additional donations

 The L. Kanishchenko Library of the West Ukrainian National University was visited by Fryderyk Zoll, member of the Supervisory Board of WUNU, professor of civil law at Jagiellonian University, professor of European private, comparative and Polish private law at Osnabrück University.



Call for applications for consultant/intern position within the international CILC project extended

 The Centre for International Legal Cooperation (CILC) is a Dutch NGO that implements projects promoting the rule of law and international legal cooperation in Europe, Asia and Africa. Under the project "Fair, Transparent and Accountable Criminal Justice System in Ukraine – Phase II", CILC announces the extension of the open call for consultants/interns to collect and process information on Ukrainian organisations that provide criminal justice services to war veterans.



WUNU students visited the city of Iserlohn (Germany)

 As part of the work of the International Centre for Culture and Development, students from the West Ukrainian National Universityy, specialising in 035 (B11) ‘Philology,’ paid a visit the city of Iserlohn in Germany. The group included students Adelia Kukharchuk, Khrystyna Kazmirchuk, Andrii Stravskyi, Viktor Slobodukh, Sviatoslav Bilinskyi, and professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT Olga Tsaryk.



WUNU begins preparations for international projects for 2026

 The International Relations Office of the West Ukrainian National Universityy held a kick-off meeting with the teaching staff to discuss the development of project activities for 2026.



Teachers of the S. I. Yuriy Department of Finance took part in a scientific conference in Rome

 On 25 and 26 November 2025, lecturers from the S. I. Yuriy Department of Finance had the opportunity to participate in the international scientific conference ‘Axiology of the Legal System: Theory and Practice,’ held at the Pontifical Gregorian University (Italy).



Expanding opportunities for Ukrainian researchers: Seed Fund for Research Excellence grant now open

 As part of the UK–Ukraine University Twinning Initiative, coordinated by Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG), the launch of the Seed Fund for Research Excellence programme has been announced. The initiative aims to strengthen the research capacity of Ukrainian universities during this difficult period of war and support their readiness to participate in larger international programmes, such as Horizon Europe.

Institutional cooperation for reforms: WUNU presented its experience and capabilities in a new international project
