A working meeting was held at West Ukrainian National University between Nicolai Kiskalt — a partner at KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (Germany), Head of the Central and Eastern Europe Desk (CEE) and responsible for KPMG Ukraine Gateway’s Private Sector Practice across Europe, the Middle East and Africa – and Marina Antonova, a project assistant, with the Rector of West Ukrainian National University, Oksana Desyatnyuk.

A Swedish delegation from the town of Ronneby visited WUNU
West Ukrainian National University hosted the signing of an agreement between WUNU, represented by the rector Oksana Desyatnyuk, and the city of Ronneby (Kingdom of Sweden), represented by Mikael Mortenson, chair of the committee for technology, recreation and culture. The city of Ronneby has been a partner city of Ternopil for many years, carrying out joint projects with Ternopil City Council.

The joint project ‘The Europeanisation of Ukrainian Law: A Comparative Law Platform for Training Young Researchers’, which received funding from the DAAD under the Leonhard Euler Programm, represents a significant achievement resulting from the long-standing academic partnership between WUNU and the Osnabrück University.

WUNU student joins international volunteer project in the Netherlands
Bohdan Soroka, a student of West Ukrainian National University, took part in a short-term volunteering project in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, organised as part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme. His participation in this international initiative was made possible by the WUNU Student Support Centre, the university’s International Relations Office, and the non-governmental organisation ‘Stella’.
