WUNU student joins international volunteer project in the Netherlands

 Bohdan Soroka, a student of West Ukrainian National University, took part in a short-term volunteering project in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, organised as part of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme. His participation in this international initiative was made possible by the WUNU Student Support Centre, the university’s International Relations Office, and the non-governmental organisation ‘Stella’.

 Recently, Ternopil’s Theatre Square was transformed into a major hub for science, creativity and interactive activities, hosting the long-awaited 13th Science Picnics. The Polish-Ukrainian Adaptation Centre of West Ukrainian National University actively participated in this significant city event, presenting its own unique venue with adaptive games to residents and visitors alike.



Understanding the reasons behind the continued spread of extremist groups in West Africa – a guest lecture as part of the educational platform ‘International Relations and Diplomacy: British Guest Lectures’

 As part of the educational platform ‘International Relations and Diplomacy: British Guest Lectures’, organised by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at B. Science Days at WUNU: an international seminar hosted by the University of Brescia

 To mark Science Days at WUNU, an international academic and practical seminar entitled ‘Planning and Managing Tourist Destinations in Times of Crisis: The Case of Ukraine: Between Development, War and Regeneration”, organised by Olena Motuzenko, Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations, as part of her role as a visiting professor at the University of Brescia.



Integrating Israel’s innovative expertise into WUNU’s academic life: highlights of the diplomatic reception

 A traditional gala reception was held in Kyiv to mark the 78th anniversary of the State of Israel’s independence, attended by representatives of West Ukrainian National University. The event, organised by the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine, served as an opportunity to review the embassy team’s achievements during their term of office and to discuss future areas of cooperation.
