Working meeting with Martin Taraj, Vice-Rector for Education at the Catholic University of Ružomberok

 Martin Taraj, Vice-Rector for Education at the Catholic University in Ružomberok (Republic of Slovakia), paid a working visit to West Ukrainian National University.



Dear students of West Ukrainian National University!

 Take part in the mobility programme within the international project "Empowering Youth: Democracy in Action", implemented by the International Centre for Culture and Development of WUNU in cooperation with the NGO "Educational and Social Innovations", Czech Technical University in Prague and Rzeszow University. The project is aimed at developing leadership skills, democratic values and engaging young people in civic activities.



European Institute of Innovation and Technology: grant opportunities

 A meeting was held with the Head of the National Contact Point (NCP) ‘European Institute of Technology and Innovation’ (NCP EIT) under the HORIZON EUROPE programme. Doctor of Economics, PhD in Techonology, Professor Vitalina Babenko discussed the topic ‘European Institute of Innovation and Technology: Grant opportunities’ with representatives of WUNU.



Training for civil servants and local self-government officials within the Jean Monnet REFRAG Module

 On 21 October 2024, the third (final) cycle of trainings on ‘European Regionalism: Practical Implementation’ started at West Ukrainian National University, aimed at civil servants, local government officials and other stakeholders. The training was held within the framework of the Jean Monnet Programme project 101048216 - REFRAG - ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH ‘Regional Integration: The European Benchmark Against the Challenges of Global Fragmentation (REFRAG)’.



WUNU student Olha Lebedovych is a promoter of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine

 Olha Lebedovych, a student of the educational and professional programme ‘International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies’ (group MVSK-31), brand ambassador of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations, recently attended a meeting within the framework of the K-supporters 2024 UA programme implemented by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine.



WUNU employees took part in a training seminar from the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine

 Recently, the staff of the International Relations Office of WUNU and the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research Uliana Koruts took part in a training seminar for employees of international departments and institutional Erasmus+ coordinators. The event was held as part of #ErasmusDays 2024 on the Zoom platform.



Visit to the Hellenic Army Academy in Athens

 During 4-15 October, Director of the Research and Development Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems, Professor of the Department of Information and Computer Systems and Management Anatolii Sachenko visited the Hellenic Army Academy in Athens (Greece).



Presentation of certificates to the participants of the course ‘European Regionalism: Practical Implementation’ within the Jean Monnet module ‘REFRAG’

 At West Ukrainian National University, certificates were awarded to students who successfully completed the training course 'European Regionalism: Practical Implementation' as part of the Jean Monnet Programme project 101048216-REFRAG-ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH 'Regional Integration: European Benchmark in the Face of Global Fragmentation (REFRAG)'.





The recipient of an Oxford internship has been selected!

 Recently, the Education and Research Centre for Communications of West Ukrainian National University held a competition for graduate students for an internship at the Saïd Business School of Oxford University (UK).




Training session ‘Induction-simulation’ for students and graduates of the Accounting and Taxation study programme

 Starting on 7 October, a series of training sessions on induction simulation for students and graduates of the Accounting and Taxation programme will be held for three weeks at the West Ukrainian National University with the participation of Deloitte representatives under the leadership of Ihor Katsiubii, Team Leader in Deloitte's Audit Department.
