WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Having studied the experience of best European peacekeeping practices, basic mediator skills, the structure of mediation, questioning techniques, classification of mediation procedures, and other basic knowledge of mediation in the first semester, students of the Negotiation Psychology and Mediation programme are ready to acquire new knowledge and skills in specific areas of mediation.

 For the Department of Economics and Economic Theory of the Faculty of Economics and Management, the new semester of 2022-2023 began with a discussion of further international cooperation projects.

 WUNU students majoring in Business Communications and Translation took part in the Winter School "Global Citizenship education in the Zeichen globaler Krisen". During the school's run, young people and scholars from Germany and Ukraine exchanged views on current global issues.

 As part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between West Ukrainian National University and the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education, New York (CERGE-EI Foundation), partnership activities have been launched.

 Even while abroad, students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University study and find places to apply their professional skills.

 In Dusseldorf, Germany, where Kateryna Yamkova, a second-year student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities majoring in Design, is undergoing dual education, there is a unique art museum known as the Black box.

 Students of the Department of International Economic Relations of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations are active participants of international academic exchange programmes. One of such opportunities is studying under the Erasmus+ programme at the Inholland University of Applied Sciences (Kingdom of the Netherlands, Alkmaar).

 Within the framework of cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business (Slovenia), a call for applications is being issued for WUNU teachers to participate in the International Teaching and Learning Week, which will be held at the Ljubljana School of Business (LSB) from May 22 to 26, 2023.

 Mihai Gruber, Secretary for Culture and Education at the Embassy of Hungary in Ukraine, and Tetiana Chubak, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Ternopil, paid a working visit to West Ukrainian National University.

 In search of new modern interactive methods of teaching negotiation and mediation that would not only interest students in the educational material, but also ensure full immersion in the practical simulations and visualization of real cases, a working meeting of colleagues from Ukraine and Spain was recently held at the WUNU ERIC.
