WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Mediation has proven itself as an effective way of resolving conflicts in most countries of the world and is gradually covering all spheres of life. Each state that introduces mediation decides independently which model of mediation will best suit its legal system and cultural traditions. Gaining experience, exchanging ideas, creating joint projects together with representatives of leading centers in the field of mediation and practicing mediators is one of the tasks of the School of Negotiations and Mediation of WUNU Education and Research Institute of Communications.

 With the facilitation of the head of the National Center for Urban Operations, US Army Major General John Wharton, a series of meetings were held between Oksana Koval (Director of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University) and Dr. Mary JC Hendricks (the president of Shepherd University) and her deputy Dr. Kelly Hart.

 The introduction of the Japanese experience of using the Eastern model of negotiations into the international master's educational programme "Psychology of negotiations and mediation" will be yet another gear in the machine of the quality training of future specialists.

 The teaching staff of West Ukrainian National University, within the framework of cooperation between the Department of International Economics and the Faculty of Economics of TU Dresden, visited the Technological University of Dresden (Germany).

 The Ukrainian-Polish programme of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations announces a call for semester studies in 2022-2023 at the Poznań University of Economics and Business.

 As part of the cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the Israeli Trauma Coalition, we are conducting courses on working with people who suffered psychological injuries during the war for the second time.

 As part of cooperation with British colleagues, West Ukrainian National University was apprised of the opportunity for Ukrainian students - the Chevening scholarship programme.

 Students of West Ukrainian National University took part in the European Youth Forum EYFON. From October 9 to 14, the girls had the opportunity to contribute to the public discussion on the topic "Peace and Communication in Today's Situations in the World."
