International Academic Week at Wroclaw University of Economics

 From October 8 to October 11, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor at the Department of Economic Theory of TNEU Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi took part in the International Academic Week organized by the International Office of the Wroclaw University of Economics, Poland. The International Academic Mobility Week brought together 15 research scientists from 10 countries (France, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Croatia, Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, Greece, Russia), who delivered lectures for undergraduate and graduate students of economics.

The topic of professor Dluhopolskyi's speech concerned the influence the degree of trust has on the effectiveness of reforms in Ukraine. A separate option for the international event was workshops in the form of round tables devoted to research collaboration and joint publications in international editions (Scopus, WoS).

In general, the results of international internships laid the foundation for the exchange of experience in conducting trainings and lectures, the creation of project teams for future international projects, as well as interdisciplinary research.



Cooperation with the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

 Exchange of experience with foreign partners, work on joint projects open up new opportunities for both academics and students of higher education institutions. On October 16, TNEU launched another interesting direction of international activity - cooperation with the University of Georgia. TNEU rector Andriy Krysovatyy and rector of the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Merab Khalvashi, signed a corresponding Memorandum during a visit in Batumi. Colleagues discussed the prospects of joint work in the scientific and educational spheres.

Congratulations to students who will study at Inholland University of Applied Sciences for a semester

 On September 24, 2018, English language competency trials and marketing / management interviews (in English) were held as part of a competitive semester selection program at the Inholland University of Applied Sciences (Kingdom of the Netherlands) for the Erasmus + program.

Government of Mexico Scholarships

 The Mexican Government has allocated scholarships to foreigners in 2019. For more information about the scholarship, see the section "Scholarships and Academic Collaboration Courses" in the "Actions and Programs" section on the website of the Government of Mexico. The application is open until September 28, 2018. All applications must be submitted electronically through the Academic Collaboration Management System in accordance with the requirements of the 2018 competition.



Scholarships from the Government of the Czech Republic for the 2019-2020

 The Government of the Czech Republic offers Ukrainian students scholarships for studying in accredited educational programs in state institutions of higher education of the Czech Republic in the academic year 2019-2020. About 10 scholarships are offered for studying for master's and doctoral educational programs.



The Arab Gulf Program for Development announced "2018 AGFUND International Prize"

 The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine informs about the "2018 AGFUND International Prize" announced by the regional organization The Arab Gulf Program for Development.



TNEU students will have the opportunity to study German together with a representative of the Dresden Technical University

 On September 5, 2018, the representative of the Dresden Technical University, Christopher Сolell, had a work meeting with the Vice-rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activity (International Affairs and Innovative Development) prof. O. M. Desnyyuk, Head of the Office of International Relations U. Z. Koruts, Head of the Ukrainian-German Faculty-Programme O. M. Tsaryk. The participants discussed the main aspects of cooperation between Ternopil National Economic University and Dresden Technical University.


One of the proposals was to organize and conduct a cycle of German language classes with students of TNEU. Christopher Colell tested students to determine the level of language proficiency, according to which students were divided into 2 groups. Next classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday at 16.00 in the room 3106.



Polish scientists visit TNEU

 Within the framework of the agreement on research cooperation between the University of Gdansk and the Ternopil National Economic University on September 2, 2018, Dr hab., professor Eugeniusz Kostoski and Dr hab., professor Bohdan Jeliński arrived to Ternopil and were greeted by the staff of B. Havrylyshyn ERIIER. During their stay the Polish scientists are planned to hold open lectures, exchange teaching and scientific experience and conduct other activities.
