International Internship at the Ljubljana School of Business

 Within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA1 project: "Learning Mobility of Individuals" from 13 to 17 May 2024, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of International Economics Mariia Lysun, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Business Maryna Nahara, and Senior Specialist and Translator of the International Relations Office of the WUNU Viktoriia Korobii paid a working visit to the Ljubljana School of Business, Slovenia.

 The Rector of West Ukrainian National University Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Research Mykola Dyvak and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies Ihor Yakymenko paid a working visit to the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Catholic University in Ružomberok and the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra to build international cooperation, develop projects and organise the 14th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies, ACIT'2024.

 Within the framework of the TURBO-ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE project "The Universities' Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises", Professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Information and Communication Technologies Iryna Humovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Management, Public Administration and Personnel Oleksandra Ovsianiuk-Berdadina, and Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Judiciary Oksana Shevchuk took part in the week-long training "Capacity building and competence improving for Ukrainian universities" on 12-17 May 2024.

 Larysa Verhun, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations at the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU, participated in an internship at the Inholland University of Applied Sciences under the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme.

 The European Commission has noted the quality of the ERASMUS+ KA107 academic mobility project between the Inholland University of Applied Sciences and West Ukrainian National University, coordinated by the Department of International Economic Relations of WUNU.



New WUNU Doctor Honoris Causa

 For his significant personal contribution to the development of education and science, increasing the intellectual capacity of Ukraine, and reinforcing the reputation of West Ukrainian National University in the international arena, Carsten Wolff, Professor of the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, founder and director of the Institute for Digital Transformation of Applied and Living Domains in Dortmund, Doctor of Engineering, was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of West Ukrainian National University.



WUNU students participated in the BUP Student Conference 2024!

 Students of West Ukrainian National University: Kateryna Bozhakivska, Yuliia Butryn, Anna Stasiuk, Anastasiia Onyshkiv, and Anastasiia Melnychuk took part in the conference "Changed Circumstances and New Threats to Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region" as part of the RESCUU project, which aims to ensure the resilience of Ukrainian educational institutions during Russia's war against Ukraine.
