WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Entrepreneurship course for IDPs, implemented as part of the international project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises” (TURBO), offers learners the opportunity to study English. The classes are taught by Iryna Humovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT.

 As part of the TURBO project (‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’), internally displaced persons, together with Oksana Shevchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional, Administrative and Financial Law, studied the regulatory framework governing the organisation and conduct of entrepreneurial activity.

 Congratulations to the students who passed the competitive selection for semester studies at Inholland University of Applied Sciences (Kingdom of the Netherlands) under the Erasmus+ programme in the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year: Sofiia Anheliuk, Nataliia Boiko, Anastasiia Haiduk, Viktoriia Hrekh, Ilona Hrokhovska, Mykhailo Dmytryk, Yuliia Kovalets, Kira Kravchuk, Sofiia Kryvenko, Anastasiia Nazar, Uliana Sinkevych.

 The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has announced a call for applications for scholarship programmes for students, postgraduates and researchers from Ukraine. The aim of these programmes is to support students and graduates from Ukraine by providing them with opportunities to study and conduct research in Germany.

 As part of the international project ‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’ (TURBO), the second group of internally displaced persons enrolled in the Entrepreneurship course mastered the discipline of Business Psychology and Management.

 As part of the Erasmus+ international academic mobility programme, Liubov Tymura, a third-year student majoring in Financial Management at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the West Ukrainian National University, is taking a semester-long course at Inholland University of Applied Sciences (Kingdom of the Netherlands).

 As part of the Seventh International Week at the West Ukrainian National University, on September 10, 2025, Professor Jan Christoph Albrecht, Co-Director of the European Master in Project Management (EuroMPM) course programme at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), Agile Coach, Dortmund, Germany, presented the lecture "The Preconditions for Success in External vs. Internal Projects" for students and postgraduates of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies (FCIT).

 As part of the VII International Week at the West Ukrainian National University, on September 9, 2025, Professor Dr. Carsten Wolff, Director of the IDiAL Institute of the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), Honorary Professor of WUNU, presented the lecture "Digital Transformation Projects" for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies.

  From August 25 to 29, 2025, the International Summer Convention was held at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Dortmund, Germany.

 At the invitation of the Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation (CODIP) of Dresden University of Technology, on September 1–2, 2025, Mykhailo Dombrovskyi, senior lecturer of the Department for Information Computer Systems and Control, warrantor of the educational-professional programme “Project Management,” took part in consultations and working meetings focused on the preparation of joint scientific and educational projects.
