WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 The Executive Committee of the Athletics Federation of Ukraine approved the team for participation in the 2022 World Championships in Athletics. The competition will take place on July 15-24 in Eugene (Oregon, USA).

 Students and teachers of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of West Ukrainian National University started collecting funds for the purchase of a car for our defenders on the front lines.

This is especially important during the war, because by occupying a stable position in the field of education in the world, we can draw the attention of the world community to the tragic events in Ukraine.

 The final conference of the project "European Regional Policy and Security Threats" took place today at the West Ukrainian National University. This project was implemented at the Classical University of Ternopil from 2019 to 2022. The main goal of this project was to promote the EU's experience in unlocking territorial potential through strategic development programs and the implementation of best practices in Ukraine in order to further integrate into the EU regions.

 On June 8, employees of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Penal Codes after 25 years of validity", which twsa organized by the Institute of Politics and Management of Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities (Poland).

 At the Department of Accounting and Taxation, it has already become a good tradition to provide more opportunities for professional growth to their students.

 An agreement on international scientific and educational cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the University of Business in Wrocław (Poland) was signed at the classical university of Ternopil.

 From 15 to 29 May, Larysa Verhun (Associate Professor of International Economic Relations, B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations) underwent an internship at the InHolland University of Applied Sciences (Alkmaar, Kingdom of the Netherlands). The visit was at the invitation of a partner university within the scope of the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme.

 In compiling this year's Top 200 Ukraine rating, experts took into account current trends in higher education in Ukraine and the world, which is undergoing profound changes from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.
