Training for businesswomen "Negotiation strategies in women's business"
Oksana Koval, Director of the Education and Research Institute of Communications at West Ukrainian National University, recently held a training session at the invitation of the entrepreneur support centre Diia. Business in Ternopil. The training focused on negotiation strategies in women's business and was held at the Advanta Business Club.
Summer School "Leader of Law"
Recently, participants of the Law Leader Summer School of the Law Faculty of West Ukrainian National University visited the Ternopil Research Forensic Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Students of grades 9-11 from Ternopil and Lviv regions learnt the basics of forensic handwriting examination and technical examination of documents, the weapons research sector and the ballistics sector.

The educational information resource Osvita.ua has compiled a consolidated ranking of higher education institutions in Ukraine in 2024. West Ukrainian National University is ranked 14th out of 235 universities in Ukraine, moving up 4 positions.

Member of West Ukrainian National University's Supervisory Board donates 4 000 euros to Ukrainian military
Good deeds unite good people. We are heartened by the fact that Jan van Zwieten, a member of the Supervisory Board of WUNU and Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, donated EUR 4 000 to the Charitable Foundation "Brother for Brother to Victory" in support of the Ukrainian military, the soldiers of the 42nd Separate Mechanised Brigade from Ternopil region.
WUNU student wins gold at the European Canoeing Championships
The European Canoeing Championships among athletes under 23 years of age are taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia. Vitalii Prystai, a student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University, won two gold medals on the final day of competition: in 500m canoe double and 200m canoe single.
SMART SUMMER YOUTH CAMP UNDER THE JEAN MONNET MODULE, ERASMUS PROJECT
From 17 to 21 June, a summer youth camp "Smart Camp" was organised for students majoring in Agronomy, Ecological Safety and Environmental Protection, Tourism, Transport Technologies, as well as Food Technologies within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module, Erasmus (Project 101085642 - SSEPRDS - ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH "Smart Specialisation: European experience in regional development strategy"). The Zakarpattia Education and Research Institute of West Ukrainian National University hosted a scientific and practical conference "Innovative Approaches to the Development of Technology and Economy", which brought together scientists and educators, government officials, postgraduate students and undergraduates to discuss topical issues of implementing an interdisciplinary approach in research, forming research groups to strengthen the practical orientation of scientific developments.
