Volunteering at WUNU!
Education at WUNU continues
Education at West Ukrainian National University continues. Students and teachers actively immerse themselves in distance learning. Lessons are on schedule, young people skillfully combine the study of disciplines with volunteering. We took special care to welcome students from other higher education institutions who were forced to leave their homes to the university family. The teaching staff is happy to have the opportunity to communicate with young men and women, to teach and help them learn new disciplines, to hear their opinions despite all the difficulties of wartime. We live, work and believe in our victory!

The President of Ukraine signed a decree on a nationwide minute of silence
Today, the President signed a decree on a nationwide minute of silence to honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in our patriotic war. All those we lost because of the russian invasion. Because of the terror unleashed by the occupiers.
Every morning at 9 o'clock in the whole territory of our state we will remember the Ukrainians who gave their lives. All who fought. All military personnel and all civilians. Adults and children ... Everyone! All those who could still be alive if russia had not started this war.
Day 20 of war in Ukraine
Our defenders are heroically defending the land from the enemy and helping the civilian population to survive in these difficult times. West Ukrainian National University continues to carry out large-scale volunteer activities with even greater zeal than before. In order to help people from the occupied territories, migrants and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we continue to collect food, hygiene products, medicines, warm clothing, and military equipment.

"Rivers do not drink their water, trees do not eat their fruit, the sun does not shine for itself and flowers do not smell for themselves. Life for others is a law of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is. Life is beautiful when you are happy; but it is much better when others are happy thanks to you." ~ Pope Francis.
