WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 An updated global ranking of the transparency of institutional repositories of universities and other research and educational institutions (Transparent Ranking of Repositories) has been published. According to the results of the rating, L. Kanishchenko Library of West Ukrainian National University was ranked 4th in Ukraine, and 99th among the world institutional repositories!

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announces the start of applications for study scholarships, research and lecture internships in Slovakia in the summer semester of 2021/2022 academic year within the National Scholarship Program (NSP) of the Slovak Republic to support the mobility of students and graduate students, lecturers, scientists and artists.

 The Global Case Study Challenge project, in which the team of Ukraine - 12 students of West Ukrainian National University - participates for the first time, saw a working meeting of students today. During the semester, young people will work in international teams (85 total) in order to improve intercultural communication skills in the field of international business and digital research.

 Scientists of West Ukrainian National University participated in the celebration of the anniversary of the Faculty of Law of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. On behalf of the academic community of the Law Faculty of WUNU, Deputy Dean, Ph.D., Svitlana Mazepa and Associate Professor of International Law and Migration Policy, Ph.D. Tetiana Drakokhrust congratulated our partners on the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Law.

 This year, West Ukrainian National University joined the virtual international project "Working Across Borders". The event is joined by leading universities from Germany, Italy, Finland, Belgium, Canada, USA, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Slovenia, Ecuador, the Netherlands, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Slovenia and other countries.

 Students of the School of International Communications of West Ukrainian National University took part in the European Youth Forum EYFON (Austria, Neumarkt) on October 3-9.

 Forbes recently published a ranking of "Best Cities for Doing Business" based on 10 criteria: transparency of city government, business activity, regional ranking of Doing Business, purchasing power, transport, security, education, migration attractiveness and environmental situation, as well as preparedness of cities for the next wave of the pandemic.

 Ukrainian-Polish programme of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of West Ukrainian National University announces a competition among students for semester studies in 2021-2022 academic year at the University of Economics in Katowice (Republic of Poland).

 The Rector and several professors of West Ukrainian National University visited the Catholic University in Ruzomberok. Ukrainian scientists traveled to Slovakia to establish contacts with partner institutions, as well as to address the organization of the 12th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT’2022) in 2022.
