WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 For the third year in a row, Ukrainian educators are celebrating September 1 in the midst of war. But the young men and women are full of faith and enthusiasm as they look forward to their studies, interesting meetings and student life. Parents' eyes glisten with tears as this stage in their lives means letting their daughters and sons fly the nest.

 Promising areas of development in the field of negotiation and mediation require a high-quality practice-oriented and research-based foundation. Joining forces with Italian experts will be extremely interesting and effective in this context.

 The Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports and the Education and Research Centre of Student Sports conduct practical classes in beach and water sports for students of the study programme ‘Physical Culture and Sports’ at the Educational and Research Centre of Recreation and Health of West Ukrainian National University. WUNU athletes improve their skills and undergo educational, professional and practical training in water and beach sports, namely: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, sailboards, volleyball, handball, badminton, football, rugby, martial arts.

 Recently, the World Junior Biathlon Championships took place in Otepää, Estonia.

 Today, congratulations on Ukraine's Independence Day sound especially reverent to us. 24 August is a historic date that reminds everyone of the nation's rebirth and the establishment of an independent and democratic state.

 On 19 August, second-year graduate students ( both full-time and part-time) of WUNU resumed their studies and started their pre-graduation internships.

 The International Centre for Culture and Development of West Ukrainian National University, headed by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olga Tsaryk, will receive a prestigious V4 Gen mini-grant from the Visegrad Fund in cooperation with the NGO ‘Educational and Social Innovations’, the Czech Technical University in Prague and the University of Rzeszow, with the support and co-financing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea in the amount of 10 thousand euros.

 As part of the work of the International Centre for Culture and Development, we are pleased to announce a competitive selection for participation in the EYFON European Forum, which will take place on 2-6 September 2024 in Neumarkt, Austria.

 West Ukrainian National University announces the call for students to participate in the Global Case Study Challenge (#GCSC). This international initiative offers our students a unique opportunity to network with peers from around the world and develop skills essential for the global business environment.

 The MSCA4Ukraine initiative offers approximately 50 doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships to Ukrainian scientists to continue their research in organisations in EU member states and associated countries of the Horizon Europe programme.
