As part of the activities of the International Centre for Culture and Development, students majoring in Business Communications and Translation at West Ukrainian National University - Kseniia Boichuk, Yuliia Hula, Adelia Kukharchuk, Eva Matsko, Khrystyna Kazmirchuk, Viktoriia Bortnyk, Tina Kurdiani and Viktoriia Shushpanova took part in the European Youth Forum EYFON, which was recently held in Neumarkt, Austria.

At the initiative of Oksana Koval, Director of the Education and Research Centre for Communications, a roundtable discussion was held at the West Ukrainian National University on the current issues of psychosocial support for veterans and police officers returning to civilian life after participating in combat operations.

Recently, an interesting and informative online meeting was held with representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, Ms. Svitlana Shytikova and Ms. Zhanna Talanova, who shared pertinent information on opportunities for Ukrainian higher education institutions to participate in Erasmus+ projects in the field of inclusion.
Grant opportunity for young researchers: EAIE supports research on internationalisation in higher education
The European Association for International Education (EAIE) has announced the call for applications for the EAIE Doctoral Research Grants 2025, a prestigious grant programme aimed at supporting research on internationalisation. In 2025, up to five grants of up to €4,500 each will be awarded to cover research-related expenses, including travel, data collection and access to academic resources.

The West Ukrainian National University is proud to announce that Svitlana Mazepa, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law, has been awarded one of the most prestigious scholarships in Germany and the European Union — the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Scholarship within the Philipp Schwartz Initiative.
