WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 A delegation from the West Ukrainian National University recently paid an official visit to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Medical University in Warsaw (UM MSC). During this period, there was a notable emphasis on sincerity, professionalism, compassion, and optimism.

 As part of the activities of the International Centre for Culture and Development, students majoring in Business Communications and Translation at West Ukrainian National University - Kseniia Boichuk, Yuliia Hula, Adelia Kukharchuk, Eva Matsko, Khrystyna Kazmirchuk, Viktoriia Bortnyk, Tina Kurdiani and Viktoriia Shushpanova took part in the European Youth Forum EYFON, which was recently held in Neumarkt, Austria.

 Our community sincerely congratulates Dmytro Okotrub, a marketing student of the West Ukrainian National University, on his laudable third place in the II International Competition of Research Papers on Marketing, Advertising, Digital Communications and Brand Management at the second (master's) level of higher education!

 At the initiative of Oksana Koval, Director of the Education and Research Centre for Communications, a roundtable discussion was held at the West Ukrainian National University on the current issues of psychosocial support for veterans and police officers returning to civilian life after participating in combat operations.

 59 years ago, West Ukrainian National University entered the educational arena of Ukraine.

 As part of the internal academic mobility programme, students from the West Ukrainian National University had the opportunity to study at leading higher education institutions across Ukraine during the spring semester of 2025.

 Recently, an interesting and informative online meeting was held with representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, Ms. Svitlana Shytikova and Ms. Zhanna Talanova, who shared pertinent information on opportunities for Ukrainian higher education institutions to participate in Erasmus+ projects in the field of inclusion.

 The European Association for International Education (EAIE) has announced the call for applications for the EAIE Doctoral Research Grants 2025, a prestigious grant programme aimed at supporting research on internationalisation. In 2025, up to five grants of up to €4,500 each will be awarded to cover research-related expenses, including travel, data collection and access to academic resources.

 The West Ukrainian National University is proud to announce that Svitlana Mazepa, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law, has been awarded one of the most prestigious scholarships in Germany and the European Union — the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Scholarship within the Philipp Schwartz Initiative.
