WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 West Ukrainian National University hosted a final briefing event to present the results of the pilot project ‘Strengthening Governance Resilience for EU Integration – Cross-Sectoral Dialogue’. The initiative was implemented in cooperation with the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, the Folke Bernadotte Academy - the Swedish Agency for Peace, Security and Development, and the public organisation ‘Resilient Ukraine’.

 Recently, West Ukrainian National University was visited by a delegation from the city of Ełk, which included: Mayor of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz, Elk City Secretary, Director of the Elk Branch of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn Dr Marcin Radziłowicz, and Director of the GRANT AV grant office Andrzej Zadorozhny.

 As part of a special project by Andriy Krysovatyy, Doctor of Economics and Professor, entitled ‘Public Finance Studies’ , teachers, researchers, postgraduate students, and those enrolled in higher education programmes at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, as well as anyone else interested, had the opportunity to attend an interactive strategic session entitled ‘Geopolitics: Changing the World Economic Order’ on February 3.

 As part of the Erasmus+ international academic mobility programme, Volodymyr Kyiko, a graduate student (master's degree programme) at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting (groups FPFm-11, FFA-11), is spending a semester studying at Nord University (Bodø, Norway).

 On January 30, West Ukrainian National University hosted a workshop entitled “Modern management trends across organizational levels: integrating technology and human capital.” The event was dedicated to researching current trends in management, which are shaped by digital transformation and the growing role of human capital. The aim of the workshop was to create a space for analyzing the interaction between technological innovations and internal human factors that determine the effectiveness of management decisions at various levels.

 In the second semester, the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU, in collaboration with the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT, Canada), launched an international educational project called COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning).

 West Ukrainian National Universityy encourages young scientists and promising practitioners to apply for a long-term study program in Japan, supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

 An interactive lecture on fraud and money laundering prevention in the management of European Union funds was recently held. The event was aimed at raising awareness of modern financial threats and developing practical skills to combat economic crime in the field of public finance.

 The Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience at WUNU continues to implement educational and practical initiatives aimed at promoting psychological support skills and creating a caring and supportive environment for people experiencing loss.

 On 27 January 2026, West Ukrainian National Universityy hosted a seminar with Paul Meerts, a member of the steering committee of the International Negotiation Processes programme (PIN) at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, founder of POINT — a network of trainers and coaches in international negotiation in the public sector, professor at Leiden University, and international negotiation analyst (Netherlands).
