TNEU volunteers help people in need during quarantine and ask everyone who cares for support!

 For two weeks now, TNEU Law Faculty's youth has been helping elderly people, people with disabilities, and those in need during the quarantine. At present, the group of volunteers consists of about 50 people - students and teachers of TNEU, their friends, as well as the youth of the Ternopil parishes of the UGCC.

 The national quarantine, which was to last until April 3, was extended for 21 days - until midnight April 25. The Government has adopted the corresponding decision today. Therefore, all educational institutions, regardless of ownership and management, must continue quarantining until the appropriate deadline.

TNEU purchased two ventilators for the needs of Ternopil citizens

 Today, the administration and the trade union committee of the Ternopil National Economic University, together with a member of the TNEU Supervisory Board, handed over two Draeger ventilators to the head of the Ternopil City Communal Emergency Hospital Yaroslav Tchaikivskyi. Medical equipment was purchased at the expense of the University staff for the needs of the residents of Ternopil. We must all stay conscious of the threat and work together to beat the virus!

 Due to the quarantine in Ukraine, the final stage of the competition for student projects is postponed to June 10-11, 2020. We would like to inform you that with the assistance and grant support of the Government of Bavaria and the Technische Hochschule Deggendorf, the winners and prize-holders of the competition will have the opportunity to attend the 10th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT-2020) on 16 -18 September 2020 in Deggendorf, Germany.

 On March 11, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Comittee on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations of Ternopil Regional State Administration, and the Department of Education and Science of Ternopil RSA have adopted decisions on prevention of the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.


In compliance with these orders, and in order to ensure the continuity of the educational process, TNEU has taken the following measures:

- transfer full-time and part-time TNEU students, as well as students of professional development courses and preparatory department, for the period from 12.03.2020 to 03.04.2020, to distance learning mode of study using the platform "Moodle" and other information and communication technologies;

- limited the organisation of public events on the territory of TNEU from 12.03.2020 to 03.04.2020.
