 Vladyslava Kryvenchuk, a student in the MENM-21 group, shares her impressions of studying under the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme: "It's an incredible experience that opens up a whole new dimension of learning and personal development for me. From the very first days, I felt how different the academic environment is: all courses are based on practicality, interaction and the development of critical thinking. Teachers encourage students to ask questions, discuss, seek their own solutions and work in teams.

 Recently, at the initiative of Oksana Koval, Director of the Education and Research Centre for Communications at West Ukrainian National University, a joint online meeting was held as part of the Dutch-Ukrainian project ‘Fair, Transparent and Accountable Criminal Justice System in Ukraine’.

 Serhiy Konoval Department of Political Science and Philosophy at the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of WUNU hosted a training simulation game entitled ‘Negotiations for Peace: The Philosophy of Dialogue in Wartime.’

 Students majoring in Philology and teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT of WUNU took part in the annual virtual visit to the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation (DG Translation), which provided them with an opportunity to learn about the daily work of EU translators and find out more about modern translation practices in European institutions.

 West Ukrainian National University hosted an international training event, Accounting Bissim Taster Session, with partners from leading UK business schools, where students had the chance to make management decisions in a virtual company and assess their impact on key financial indicators.

 In September, West Ukrainian National University launched an educational project called ‘English for War Veterans and Their Families,’ which involves retired war veterans and their families, families of deceased war veterans, and family members of deceased defenders of Ukraine who live in Ternopil and the Ternopil region, including Kremenets, Berezhany, Skalat, Buchach, Pidvolochysk, Chortkiv, Zbarazh, and other cities.

 The editorial board meeting of the Journal of European Economy took place on 17 November 2025 in an online format.

 West Ukrainian National University hosted the award ceremony for the drawing contest ‘I Embrace You, Ukraine!’, which was jointly organised by the Office for Fine Arts and Personal Development of WUNU and the Sunbeam Charitable Foundation (headed by Olena Mudra).

 Today, we address each of you with pain that is difficult to express in words. The latest attacks by the Russian aggressor have affected the people of our city — employees and students of WUNU, whose homes have been destroyed or damaged as a result of treacherous strikes, and whose relatives and loved ones are in hospital. Some have lost their homes, others their sense of security and peace of mind, and still others their health, which has been shaken by the war.
