WUNU in the GreenMetric World University Rankings!
The staff of the International Relations Office would like to thank the team that worked on the university's data in GreenMetric World University Rankings and invite you to help update the database to participate in this year's competition (for details, please contact the International Relations Office - inter.office.tneu@gmail .com). The update will last until October 31, 2020.
We remind you that according to the results of the rating as of December 2019, West Ukrainian National University rose from 440 to 423 place in the GreenMetric World University Ranking, which includes 780 universities. Our institution is 5th position among Ukrainian universities!
The rating measures the institution's attitude to the environment in terms of six groups of criteria: setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, water, waste, transportation, education and research in the field of sustainable development.
New approaches to education at West Ukrainian National University
Today, September 14, the educational process for first-year students of West Ukrainian National University began. The academic year started unusually, as due to quarantine restrictions it kicks off remotely. The day began with a video address from the rector of WUNU Andriy Krysovatyy, who wished the first years to be brave and steadfast, set ambitious goals, dream, win and take care of their health!

The Second International Week (WUNU IW 2020) will start on September 22, 2020 at the West Ukrainian National University!
WUNU IW 2020 is an international forum where participants will present the latest research concepts, exchange ideas, developments and programnes in all thematic areas of WUNU IW. International Week provides an opportunity to expand and strengthen cooperation between partner institutions in international project activities. This is a great opportunity to communicate with colleagues from around the world!
West Ukrainian National University was granted the official right to prepare candidates for the Cambridge exams for the fifth time
In September 2020, West Ukrainian National University received the international certificate from Cambridge Assessment English. For the fifth time since August 2016, WUNU as the successor to TNEU received this certificate, signed by the Director of the Global Network at Cambridge Assessment English Francesca Woodworth. This entitles our university, including the Foreign Language Training and Research Center, to prepare exam candidates for the Cambridge English Certificate in English.
4 days until the anniversary Advanced Computer Information Technologies conference
In four days, on September 16, 2020, the anniversary 10th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies, ACIT’2020, will begin its work. The co-organizers of the event are West Ukrainian National University (Ukraine), Deggendorf University of Technology (Germany) and University of South Bohemia (Czech Republic).
Eighth postgraduate training from the Baltic University Programme
We invite postgraduate students who have already completed the first year of study to take part in the 8th training of the Baltic University Programme, which will take place on November 22-26, 2020 at the Łódz Technical University. As WUNU is a member of the Baltic University Programme (BUP), participation in the training is free for WUNU postgraduate students.

West Ukrainian National University appreciates the work of the team of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine and expresses gratitude that WUNU was confirmed to continue its activities in EU Erasmus+ Programmes as per the updated base of higher education institutions and projects of the EU Erasmus+ Programme. Thus, according to the results, WUNU is among the leading universities of Western Ukraine and ranks 18th among more than 200 universities in Ukraine.

The Covid-19 pandemic is spreading across the planet, and scientists around the world have joined forces to study the legal experience of foreign countries in the fight against coronavirus.
