TNEU is among leaders in the evaluation of the scientific quality of universities in the world!
Webometrics published updated rating in January (January 2020, version 9.2, beta!, https://www.webometrics.info/en/transparent?fbclid=IwAR0XSXaQQxN9aKQjQW2nN19KOooFLDZV7SeowjRw2b_gv2iAx8EuJ_sometricsCA) based on citations from the Google Scholar database. Only 72 Ukrainian higher education institutions are included in the rating, and Ternopil National Economic University ranks 4th among them!

Researchers of University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn are reliable TNEU partners
On January 23, 2020, a delegation of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland) visited the Ternopil National Economic University - Professor Mechislav Ruzhansky, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, Dr. Marek Pashkowski, Dr. Justina Kszykowska.
The scientists of the University in Olsztyn cooperate closely with the TNEU Law Faculty, whose representatives made a number of working visits to the Republic of Poland in order to establish their cooperation in the field of research.
The consolidated rating of Ukrainian universities in 2019
The educational resource "Osvita.ua" published a consolidated rating of Ukrainian higher education institutions for 2019. According to it, Ternopil National Economic University was ranked 40th in the overall rating of Ukrainian higher education institutions and second in the regional rating.
To compile the consolidated rating of higher education institutions of Ukraine, the most authoritative ratings among the experts and the media were used: "Top 200 Ukraine", "Scopus" and "ZNO on contract", each of which uses different evaluation criteria.

Another academic semester of the Ukraine - Norway project has ended. Participants - soldiers who have been released into the reserve and their family members - having completed the courseload, were awarded certificates of retraining during a joyous ceremony.

The selection of teachers for the week teaching of disciplines in international management and international marketing is announced
Within the framework of cooperation between Ternopil National Economic University and the University of Applied Sciences Inholland (Kingdom of the Netherlands), a competitive selection of teachers to teach the international management and international marketing disciplines for a week is announced in accordance with the agreed programmes in the second semester of 2019-2020. The competition is part of the ERASMUS + academic mobility project.
Attention TNEU PhD students!
The University of Nord (Norway) offers TNEU postgraduate internships for the period from March to May 2020. During the internship, postgraduate students will be able to work on the topic of their dissertation using the bibliographic resources available in the library, as well as choose PhD courses according to their topic of work.
TNEU expands the cooperation horizons!
Yesterday a Cooperation Agreement was signed between Ternopil National Economic University and STAFFORENT (Varna, Bulgaria) to jointly organize production practices and internships for students of the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Management of the B. Havrylyshyn Research and Education Institute of International Economic Relations in hotel and restaurant complexes in Bulgaria.
TNEU in the GreenMetric World University Rankings 2019
TNEU has risen from 440 to 423 in the GreenMetric World University Rankings, which considers 780 universities of the world. Our higher education institution ranks 5th among Ukrainian universities!
The rating measures the environmental impact of an institution in terms of six sets of criteria: creation of a favorable eco-landscape environment, energy saving, savings of water resources, waste management, the use of ZeroEmission vehicles , conducting educational activities and research in the field of sustainable development.
The rating is based on the conceptual framework of the environment, economy and justice.
A delegation from the People's Republic of China visited TNEU
A delegation from the People's Republic of China visited the Ternopil National Economic University recently. Vice-rector for Academic Affairs and Research Oksana Desyatnyuk greeted the guests. The purpose of the visit was to communicate with students from the PRC studying at the university and to discuss further ways of expanding cooperation.
TNEU in July Webometrics 2018 ranking
The World Transparent Ranking of Repositories of institutional repositories of universities and other academic institutions is published on the Webometrics website ( https://repositories.webometrics.info/en/transparent ).
According to the rating, the repository of the TNEU L. Kanishchenko library was at the 177th place. The rating is based on the number of scientific papers placed in the repository and indexed by the Google Scholar database. This year, Webeomtrics's automated rating algorithm has identified 1,000 top repositories of which more than 30 are repositories of Ukrainian universities.
