Cooperation with the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University
Exchange of experience with foreign partners, work on joint projects open up new opportunities for both academics and students of higher education institutions. On October 16, TNEU launched another interesting direction of international activity - cooperation with the University of Georgia. TNEU rector Andriy Krysovatyy and rector of the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Merab Khalvashi, signed a corresponding Memorandum during a visit in Batumi. Colleagues discussed the prospects of joint work in the scientific and educational spheres.
We truly believe that this cooperation will prove fruitful and bring quality results!

During October 3-4, the First Forum of European Union Networks in Ukraine was held in Kyiv. The event gathered representatives of Euroclubs, EU information centers, graduates of European educational programs, as well as other activists and experts from all over Ukraine cooperating with the EU Delegation in Ukraine. The purpose of the Forum is to familiarize the network members with the latest developments in EU-Ukraine relations and to share lessons learned.
During the Forum, an awards ceremony for the winners of the Contest on the topic of education in the EU and cooperation between Ukraine and the EU took place. More than 130 videos were submitted to the competition. The theme of this year was education, as well as cooperation between Ukraine and the EU. Videos were evaluated in two categories: "professionals", for participants with specialized education or experience in the field of video production, and "amateurs", that is, those who did not have the relevant experience
The first place in the category "Professionals", according to the decision of the professional jury was awarded to Andrii Vavryk, TNEU student ("Marketing", Faculty of Economics and Management) for his video "Benefits of Studing in Europe".

Center for International Security and Cooperation is now open
On October 11, the Center for International Security and Cooperationwas oficially opened at the Ternopil National Economic University.
Among the guests were the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law V. M. Sloma, Head of the Office for International Relations U. Z. Koruts, Head of the Center for International Security and Cooperation O.I. Vivchar, consultant on information, analytical and legal issues of the Center for International Security and Cooperation N.O. Chudyk, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure M. Yu. Kravchuk.
The purpose of the Center's activities is to organize the scientific, informational, research, analytical and educational activities of teachers, students, post-graduate students of the University in the field of international security and cooperation.
The Center's activities include cooperation with Ukrainian and foreign scientific institutions, research and expert centers, educational institutions engaged in studying and researching the problems of international security and multilateral cooperation in the field of international security.
Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration visited TNEU
On October 11, the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze visited Ternopil National Economic University. Students welcomed her with a flash mob "Ukraine - is Europe."
A discussion took place in the assembly hall, attended by the Rector of TNEU Andriy Krysovatyy, the head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration Stepan Barna and the Vice Prime Minister. Students had the opportunity to ask speakers some questions about dual citizenship in Ukraine, Britain's exit from the EU, and the problems of inadequate gender equality. Educational migration was one of the most interesting and, at the same time, topical issues.
College students got to know TNEU better during a quest
On October 9, students of the groups PRT-11 and PRT-12 of the TNEU College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies took part in the quest, thanks to which they were able to get acquainted with the various locations of the campus of our university in an interesting form. College freshmen performed tasks, solved riddles, visited the educational buildings of TNEU, sports grounds, the Museum of the University History, found the memorial plaque of the Ukrainian Hero Volodymyr Harmatii, got acquainted with the veterans of our institution of higher education.
"Focus group: law, economics, international relations"
On Oct. 8, TNEU started the project "Focus group: law, economics, international relations" at the initiative of the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oksana Desnyuchiuk. On the occasion of the Lawyer's Day, the first meeting on "Legal Aspects of Dual Citizenship" was held. Members of the Council of Young Scientists, postgraduates and students of TNEU were active participants of the meeting. Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and the Procedure of Uliana Koruts acted as moderator of the meeting.
During the meeting, the participants conducted a review of judicial practice on the example of decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, discussed and compared dual citizenship in Ukraine and in the world.

Ternopil National Economic University promotes adherence to the principles of academic integrity. From now on, TNEU will test dissertations for plagiarism using the online service "Unicheck", which is already successfully being used by more than 90 Ukrainian and 350 foreign educational institutions.
