At West Ukrainian National University, participants of the retraining and social adaptation programme for internally displaced persons are currently undertaking studies in the field of ‘Entrepreneurship’, which is being implemented as part of the international TURBO project (‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’). This project aims to support IDPs, develop entrepreneurial skills, facilitate professional adaptation to new living conditions, and create opportunities for self-fulfilment.

The town of Havlíčkův Brod (Czech Republic) hosted the International Tournament in Greco-Roman Style for 2025, in which students majoring in Physical Culture and Sports and Economics and Business Management from West Ukrainian National University represented their university with dignity.
