WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Recently, the STEM Lab at the Education and Research Centre for Communications at the West Ukrainian National University hosted a round table discussion entitled "City, Education, Innovation: Synergy for Community Development," which brought together representatives of educational institutions: education authorities, schools, and universities, as well as non-governmental organizations and international partners to discuss ways to create an innovative educational environment for young people.

 Until November 1, 2025, the Fulbright Program in Ukraine / Kyiv Office of the Institute of International Education (IIE) is accepting applications for the Fulbright Research and Development Program (FRDP).

 In cooperation with leading institutions in Ukraine, Europe and the United States, the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin has launched an initiative to support Ukrainian scholars — the Virtual Ukraine Institute for Advanced Study (VUIAS). The institute began operations in September 2023 and has already accepted its first interdisciplinary group of fellows.

We encourage researchers and representatives of the academic community of the West Ukrainian National University to submit scientific articles for publication in the next issue of the international scientific journal Agora International Journal of Economic Sciences (AIJES).

 A momentous occasion - the initiation of first-year students into student life - has been celebrated at the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations at WUNU. For the newcomers, this day marked not only the triumphant beginning of their studies, but also symbolised their joining a community that shapes future leaders on an international scale.

 Recently, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of WUNU hosted the annual volleyball tournament ‘Dean's Cup – 2025’, which has already become a good tradition and a real celebration of student sports. The Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Andrii Kizyma, and the Acting Head of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports, Nataliia Bezpalova, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasising the importance of developing sporting traditions as an important component in shaping active, purposeful and united young people.

 Greetings from Indonesia! The World Youth and Junior Sambo Championships were recently held in Bogor, where Ukraine was proudly represented by student athletes Volodymyr Svidrak and Diana Lutsiak from the WUNU Vocational College of Economics, Law and Information Technology.

 The Central City Stadium in Ternopil hosted the match of the 8th round of the VBET Ukrainian Premier League between FC Epicenter and FC Zorya.

 A STEM school for gifted students in Ternopil has been launched by the Education and Research Centre for Communication of West Ukrainian National University. This STEM Lab - the venue of the school - has become the place for the development of a new generation of thoughtful, creative and confident young leaders.

 On the occasion of International Day of Interpreters, the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT organised a competition for student interpreters of West Ukrainian National University.
