WUNU ranks 37th in the university ranking according to Scopus indicators
Osvita.ua has published an annual ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions based on the data from the Scopus scientometric database. West Ukrainian National University has risen in the ranking and is now 37th among 214 universities in Ukraine.

Since 2023, the L. Kanishchenko Library of West Ukrainian National University has been operating a publication support centre. The aim of the project is to properly reflect the scientometric activity and publications of the academic staff and graduate students of WUNU in Ukrainian and global scientometric systems: Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science, Google Scholar, Web of Science, Scopus, Orcid. The Centre's activities are focused on analytical research, monitoring and analysis of scientometric data of the academic staff of WUNU, promoting the university in the national and international scientific space.
International round table "International cooperation in the context of global challenges"
On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the S. I. Yuriy Department of Finance of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, the International Roundtable "International Cooperation in the Face of Global Challenges" was held at West Ukrainian National University, attended by more than 100 scientists, educators, public figures, and young scientists from Ukraine, Poland, Germany, the USA, the UK, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Moldova.
