WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 The Rector of West Ukrainian National University Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Research Mykola Dyvak and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies Ihor Yakymenko paid a working visit to the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Catholic University in Ružomberok and the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra to build international cooperation, develop projects and organise the 14th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies, ACIT'2024.

 Within the framework of the TURBO-ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE project "The Universities' Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises", Professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Information and Communication Technologies Iryna Humovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Management, Public Administration and Personnel Oleksandra Ovsianiuk-Berdadina, and Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Judiciary Oksana Shevchuk took part in the week-long training "Capacity building and competence improving for Ukrainian universities" on 12-17 May 2024.

 Within the framework of the project "Synergy of educational, scientific, managerial and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention"/CLIMAN 619119-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (Erasmus+ programme), the consortium of which includes West Ukrainian National University, an internship for students is being organised at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany, on 07-21 July 2024.

 For the second time in a row, the campus community of West Ukrainian National University has organised a student e-sports tournament in Counter-Strike 2 (5x5 format) among the youth of WUNU.

 The Education and Research Institute of Communications of WUNU actively develops international cooperation and regularly establishes new contacts with the world's leading experts in the field of communications, negotiations and mediation.

 The School of Polish and European Law invites students and lecturers of West Ukrainian National University to attend the lecture "Theory and Philosophy of Law: Dispute over the Concept of Law and Legal Methods", which will be held on 16 May at 16:00.

 Recently, Dr William Frick, a professor at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Sharjah, visited Ternopil.

 As part of the Europe Day, the Office of the Vice-Rector for International Relations organised various events for young people to promote European values.

 On the occasion of the Europe Day, an information session "Learn about Erasmus+" was held at West Ukrainian National University, which was attended by teachers and students of WUNU.

 The second day of the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference "Communication as a Factor of Transparency of Social Interaction: Psychological, Historical, Legal, Economic and Political Dimensions", organised by the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University in cooperation with the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service and the National Association of Mediators of Ukraine, was extremely eventful and productive.
