WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 For his significant personal contribution to the development of education and science, increasing the intellectual capacity of Ukraine, and reinforcing the reputation of West Ukrainian National University in the international arena, Carsten Wolff, Professor of the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, founder and director of the Institute for Digital Transformation of Applied and Living Domains in Dortmund, Doctor of Engineering, was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of West Ukrainian National University.

 On Wednesday, 24 April 2024, at 9:35 am, an open lecture "Digital Transformation Projects" will be held in the Electronic Resources Hall, room 1209, West Ukrainian National University.

 Students of West Ukrainian National University: Kateryna Bozhakivska, Yuliia Butryn, Anna Stasiuk, Anastasiia Onyshkiv, and Anastasiia Melnychuk took part in the conference "Changed Circumstances and New Threats to Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region" as part of the RESCUU project, which aims to ensure the resilience of Ukrainian educational institutions during Russia's war against Ukraine.

 Recently, the staff of the Department of Foreign Languages and Information and Communication Technologies of the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations held the annual All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Student Conference with international participation "Modern Paradigm of Foreign Language Business Communication: International Best Practices and Intercultural Integration".

 Within the framework of the AFID Erasmus+CBHE project, representatives of West Ukrainian National University: Head of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory, Doctor of Economics, Professor Viktor Koziuk and Professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory, Doctor of Economics, Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi took part in the workshop "Digital Skills for Academic and Administrative Staff".

 On April 10, 2024, West Ukrainian National University signed a memorandum with the Public Initiative "Save Dnipro", the largest independent environmental information analysis network that combines data on the current state of the environment, pollution, pollutants and environmental protection tools.

 "Verbal and non-verbal communication: how to be a good speaker?" - a training session on this topic was held for students of the International Relations, Public Communications, Regional Studies study programme by Svitlana Nakonechna, an expert in public speaking.

 On 18 April, the campus student council of West Ukrainian National University organised a board game party for all interested students.

 In February 2020, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with ENIC Ukraine, initiated the creation of the all-Ukrainian network for the recognition of foreign educational qualifications UaReNet to develop and improve the practice of recognising foreign educational degrees.

 A Career Day was held at West Ukrainian National University. Students, graduates, and employers came together for the long-awaited event. Such events play a key role in creating opportunities for students to meet potential employers, share experiences and expand their career opportunities.
