WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 The call for the new Erasmus+ proposals for 2024 is open as of 28 November 2023. The European Commission announced this by presenting the Annual Programme for 2024 with an expanded budget of €4.3 million. The programme will continue to provide opportunities for study, internship, teaching and traineeship exchanges, as well as cross-border projects in the fields of education, professional development, youth and sport.

 In the ranking of the Study Abroad Aide database, West Ukrainian National University is ranked 16th among the 100 best universities in Ukraine for international students!

 Representatives of WUNU's Progressive Island: Head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Oksana Tulai, Head of the Research Division Vita Semaniuk, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Natalia Karpyshyn, Senior Research Assistant of the International Relations Office Volodymyr Sidiaha and students: Anastasia Kryva, Marta Maiba, and Anna Ivanova took part in the Progressive Educators Summit 2023.

 One of the main priorities of the Department of Foreign Languages, Information and Communication Technologies of West Ukrainian National University is the development of communicative competence in foreign languages.

 Within the framework of cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the Technical University of Dresden (Germany), a Scientific and Practical Conference (with international participation) "Ukraine Goes Digital" was held by the Department of International Economics of the B.D. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.

 As part of the course "European Migration Law", 2nd year students of the Law Faculty of West Ukrainian National University took part in a simulated court hearing on "Forced expulsion of a foreigner from Ukraine".

 It is a tradition for the staff of the Department of Business Analytics and Innovative Engineering of West Ukrainian National University to help orphanages, especially on St Nicholas Day.

 Within the framework of the international project "Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalisation" (AFID) ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-LS-101081850, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory of the Faculty of Economics and Management of WUNU, Executive Director of the NGO "Civic Synergy" Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi conducted a series of workshops in English at the University of Alcalá, Spain, "Training on development of inclusive digital educational content".

 The Swedish Institute (SI) has announced a competition for the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals.

 The Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University will host a two-week training course on "Psychological Features of Crisis Negotiations for Police Officers in Extreme Conditions of Service". The target group will be police officers of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Main Police Department. Training will focus on crisis negotiations in the course of ensuring the protection of citizens' rights and freedoms, combating crime, maintaining public safety and conducting special operations.
