WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Within the framework of cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland), the staff of the Department of International Law and Migration Policy of the Law Faculty invites students and teachers to take part in the scientific seminar "EU Environmental Law: Polish Experience of Implementation as a Source of Inspiration forUkraine?".

 On 15-17 November 2023, teachers of the Law Faculty of West Ukrainian National University Svitlana Mazepa (PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure), Tetiana Drakokhrust (PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory of Law and Constitutionalism), Viktoriia Ivaniuk (PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure), and Ihor Metelskyi (PhD, Acting Head of the Department of Security and Law Enforcement) took part in an international scientific conference within the framework of the Comparative Research Platform 2023 project in Warsaw (Poland).

 Recently, the first- and second-year students of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University majoring in Psychology of Negotiation and Mediation underwent a series of training sessions on developing practical mediation skills, led by Jan van Zwieten, Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, Honorary Professor of WUNU.

 Students of the Psychology of Negotiation and Mediatio" study programme have unique opportunities to gain practical experience from the world's best experts. At the initiative of the new Swiss partner of the ERIC, CEO of Assertive Group Steve Alban Tineo, on 11 November 2023 at 9:00 a.m., the workshop "Crisis negotiations. Fear in the field: How to handle them and how to handle yourself" will be held at the Education and Research Institute of Communications of WUNU.

 ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a unique identifier assigned to researchers, authors and other members of the research community to identify and track their academic achievements. The ORCID consortium was established to develop and maintain this identification system and to facilitate the integration of ORCID identifiers into various scholarly systems such as repositories, journals, conferences and databases, facilitating data exchange and providing more accurate information about research achievements.

 Recently, the World Championship in Ukrainian National Belt Wrestling was held in Poland. Olha Drig, a student of West Ukrainian National University, performed well during the competition and won a bronze medal in the absolute weight category.

 Recently, the Education and Research Institute of Innovation, Nature Management and Infrastructure of West Ukrainian National University has presented the activities of the Climate Management Center, which was established within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Synergy of Educational, Scientific, Managerial and Industrial Components for Climate Management and Climate Change Prevention / CLIMAN" 619119-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.
