In the context of the study of professional training disciplines, graduate students majoring in Philology (Germanic Languages): Teaching Methods and Translation will attend an open lecture by Dr Latif Durlanik on 11 November 2024 at 18:30. Dr. Latif Durlanik is a visiting professor from the University of Hamburg (Department of Orientalism) and the University of Bremen (German Linguistics and German as a Foreign Language).

On the fourth of November 2024, students majoring in Public Finance and members of the Finance and Accounting English Club took part in an English-language guest interactive lecture with international participation on The Role of Cross-Functional Knowledge Sharing in the Business Process Analysis, by Marta Krajewska-Beentjes, PhD, leading business analyst at SOS Childrens' Villages International. This event was held in the video conference room (room 11103), equipped with the support of the Erasmus+ Project ‘WORK4CE: Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century’.

On the eve of the Day of Social Worker of Ukraine, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University hosted the Third International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Psychosocial Resources of Personal and Social Development in the Age of Globalisation’, organised by the Department of Psychology and Social Work. The conference was attended by more than 200 participants, representatives of 22 leading foreign universities from 13 countries (USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Israel, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, Thailand, Ukraine).
