Results of the competition for semester-long study programmes at the University of Osnabrück and the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Germany)
Congratulations to students Zoriana Ivashkiv (group PR-21) and Viktoriia Dushchak (group PR-34), who have been selected to study for a semester at the University of Osnabrück, and to Vitalii Levus (group KNSHI-41), who has been selected for a semester of study at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts under the Erasmus+ programme in the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.

As part of the international conference ‘Ukraine in the Context of Legal System Reform’, Dr Monika Strus-Wolos — a Doctor of Law from the University of Warsaw and a partner at a renowned law firm in Warsaw — visited West Ukrainian National University. Her participation in the events made a significant contribution to the development of international academic dialogue and the support of Ukrainian legal education. During her presentation, Dr Strus-Wolos shared European experience of legal system reform, focusing on the practical aspects of the legal profession, the protection of human rights and the improvement of civil proceedings.
A regional event entitled ‘Education and the Labour Market: A Strategy for Social Partnership’ held at WUNU
WUNU hosted a regional event entitled ‘Education and the Labour Market: A Strategy for Social Partnership’. The event was organised by the National Qualifications Agency in partnership with West Ukrainian National University. The event brought together representatives of government bodies, the education community, employer associations, education quality institutions, employment centres and businesses to discuss what modern education should look like in order to meet the challenges of the times, the needs of the economy and the expectations of society.

Launch of the ‘Fundamentals of European Integration’ training series as part of the ‘Jean Monnet Chair in European Integration at WUNU’ project
A new educational project is starting at West Ukrainian National University — a series of training sessions entitled ‘Fundamentals of European Integration’, initiated by the staff of the Jean Monnet Chair in European Integration. The programme is being run by the B. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations and will take place from 10 April to 30 June 2026.
