WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Solomiia Melnyk, a law student, shares her impressions of her internship at a leading law firm in the Republic of Poland (Warsaw): "As a successful graduate of the School of Polish and European Law in Tarnopol, I was invited by the Polish law firm Peak Legal (Warsaw) for a two-week internship under the guidance of Warsaw's top lawyer Wojciech Jarośiński.

 We invite 2nd and 3rd year students of the West Ukrainian National University to take part in a competitive selection process for a semester of study in the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at the School of Business in Ljubljana (Slovenia), who are studying in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Management, Business Communication and Translation.

 Academic staff of WUNU are invited to participate in a free professional development course as part of the TURBO project, which will take place in autumn 2025. The aim of the course is to strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian universities to provide modern and flexible educational services tailored to the needs of the labour market. The training sessions are aimed at developing competencies in strategic and crisis management, human resource management, creating innovative programmes and cooperation with stakeholders, as well as exchanging experiences between partners after the implementation of new educational solutions.

 The Maidan of Knowledge at the West Ukrainian National University hosted another art meeting from the ‘Unformatted’ series. This time, the event was dedicated to the outstanding Ukrainian singer, the legendary opera diva Solomiya Krushelnytska.

 For Yuliia Kozak (PR-24), Yuliia Hudak (PR-36) and Kateryna Kavetska (PR-24), studying in Croatia during the summer semester of 2024–2025 as part of an international academic mobility programme turned out to be one of the coolest moments of their student life. They stepped into a completely different world, where, alongside their studies, they discovered new countries, people and emotions.

 On September 19, 2025, the official closing ceremony of the international scientific conference 2025 15th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT'2025) took place. The event brought together scientists, teachers, graduate students, and undergraduates from many countries to present the results of their research, share research ideas, and discuss current problems in the development of information technologies.

 On September 22, West Ukrainian National University's water sports center hosted International Student Sports Day, a celebration of physical activity, team spirit, and healthy lifestyles.

 On September 18, the Taras Shevchenko Academic Drama Theater in Ternopil was filled with uplifting emotions, festive atmosphere, and a sense of unity.

 Entrepreneurship course for IDPs, implemented as part of the international project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises” (TURBO), offers learners the opportunity to study English. The classes are taught by Iryna Humovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT.

 As part of the TURBO project (‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’), internally displaced persons, together with Oksana Shevchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional, Administrative and Financial Law, studied the regulatory framework governing the organisation and conduct of entrepreneurial activity.
