WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 A delegation from West Ukrainian National University, consisting of Prof. Anatoliy Sachenko, Associate Professor Lesia Dubchak and Associate Professor Pavlo Bykov, made a trip to Athens (Greece) and Sofia (Bulgaria), marking an important step in the preparation of international scientific events and the development of the university's partnerships.

 We are pleased to announce that Yaroslav Rudov, a student majoring in International Law at West Ukrainian National University, has completed a two-month internship in Warsaw at one of Poland's leading law firms, Rymarz Zdort Maruta (Rymarz, Zdort, Maruta, Wachta, Gasiński, Her i Wspólnicy sp.k.).

 The issue of mental health in Ukraine is gaining particular relevance in the context of war. Large-scale social upheavals, prolonged stress, loss and forced displacement have a significant impact on the mental state of the population, making mental health support one of the key priorities of state policy. A system of psychosocial assistance is gradually being developed in Ukraine, aimed at providing accessible and effective support services for different categories of the population. In these circumstances, an important direction for the development of the support system is the introduction of innovative digital tools that can complement traditional methods of psychological assistance.

 We invite 2nd and 3rd year students of West Ukrainian National University to take part in a competitive selection for a chance to study abroad during the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at the FH Joanneum (Graz, Republic of Austria). Students enrolled in the International Management programme are eligible to apply.

 The Leonid Kanishchenko Library has received a valuable addition to its collection: recent academic literature on law, history, philosophy, international relations, culture, pedagogy, management, philology, economics, psychology, ecology, public administration, and other subjects, donated by the leading international academic publisher Brill Publishers.

 As part of the Erasmus+ SUSTED project "Education for Sustainable Development: Synergy of Competences for the Recovery of Ukraine", we are announcing a competitive selection of WUNU students for a one-week internship in June 2026 at Danubius University, Slovakia.

 Submissions are now being accepted for the 16th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies ACIT 2026, which will bring together researchers, scientists, experts and students working in the fields of information technology, computer science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and mathematical modelling.

 The staff of the Yerevan Education and Research Institute of West Ukrainian National University organised a literary event dedicated to the 212th anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian poet, artist and ethnographer Taras Shevchenko.

 Tetiana Tarasiuk, a student at West Ukrainian National University, successfully competed in the World Biathlon Championships for youth and juniors, which took place in Arber, Germany.
