WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

The Rector of West Ukrainian National University Oksana Desyatnyuk, together with the Vice-Rectors and the Director of the Education and Research Institute of Communications, spoke with Jan van Zwieten, a member of WUNU's Supervisory Board.

 Tatyana Dukh, a student of MENM-31, shares her impressions of studying at Inholland University:
‘I spent the second half of the second year of my studies at the Inholland University of Applied Sciences, Alkmaar, the Kingdom of the Netherlands.'

The first project team meeting of the WUNU STEM Lab project was recently held at the Education and Research Centre of Communications of WUNU. The establishment of the hub was made possible thanks to funding from the American non-governmental organisation VOVK Foundation and the BlueCheck Ukraine Charitable Foundation, as well as the joint efforts of the International Institute of Communications.

The Fifth International School of World Educational Practices ‘New Way’, which is implemented jointly with the Netherlands Business Academy and is dedicated to communication, negotiation, non-violent dialogue, education, leadership and influence, has been running at the Communications Education and Research Centre of the West Ukrainian National University for a year. The school has once again served as an open international platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, and has also been an important component in the development of professional networking.

West Ukrainian National University hosted the launch of the international project TURBO: The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises.

On 23 May 2025, the XIII Traditional Scientific Conference NEW ECONOMY 2025, topic: ‘Innovative Economy in Times of Global Challenges: New Approaches to Growth and a Sustainable Future', co-organised for the third time by the Department of Economics and Economic Theory of the West Ukrainian National University will be held in Sofia (Bulgaria).

 Iryna Boiko, a student of the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations of WUNU, group MENM-31, shares her impressions of studying at the Inholland University.

The Education and Research Centre for Communications of WUNU is committed to establishing international cooperation, attracting foreign teachers and guest lecturers, and introducing the latest approaches to creating a single European research, education and innovation space.

Oleksandr Kolesnyk and Oleksii Serhiiev, lecturers at the Vinnytsia Professional College of Economics and Entrepreneurship of the West Ukrainian National University, received special awards from the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi for their pedagogical talent and consistency in presenting methodological developments on the history of the Holodomor and the Russian-Ukrainian war.
