A lecture by Polish political scientist Tomasz Madras will be held at WUNU
On 3 October at 13:00, Tomasz Madras, political scientist and economist, Vice-Voivode of the Podlaskie Voivodeship (2020-2023), Doctor of Social Sciences, Doctor of the Department of Eastern European Studies and International Political Relations, Faculty of International Relations, University of Białystok, Białystok, Republic of Poland will give a guest lecture to WUNU students.
Representatives of WUNU took part in the international TURBO Conference II
From September 22 to 25, 2025, a delegation from the West Ukrainian National University took part in the international conference TURBO Conference II “Higher education, capacity building and societal crises: international perspectives,” which was held at Kozminski University (Warsaw, Republic of Poland). The event brought together scientists, educators, experts, and representatives of the academic community from around the world to discuss the challenges facing the higher education system in the context of global crises and to seek effective strategies for its development.

The West Ukrainian National University hosted an open lecture by Krzysztof Jerzy Filipiak, Director of the Centre for Postgraduate Medical Education (Warsaw, Republic of Poland) on the topic: Medicine Beyond Borders: Health Challenges in Exotic Destinations. The event brought together students, teachers and all those interested in modern approaches in the field of medicine and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
Participants of the TURBO project's fall semester completed their training in management
Participants in the autumn semester of the TURBO project (‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’) have completed their training in management. Lecturers Hryhorii Monastyrskyi (Professor of the Department of Management, Public Administration and Human Resources), and Oleksandra Ovsianiuk (Associate Professor of the Department of Management, Public Administration and Human Resources) shared their knowledge and helped each participant discover their own leadership potential.
