WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 The autumn semester of professional retraining and social adaptation of war veterans and their family members in Ternopil and Berezhany has begun! West Ukrainian National University in cooperation with the NGO "Educational and Social Innovations" will conduct training for war veterans and their family members for three months in the specialty "Entrepreneurship".

 In connection with the situation in Ukraine, studies and work at West Ukrainian National University will be conducted online until Friday, October 14.

 On October 20 at 7:00 p.m., WUNU Ternopil Business School invites students and teachers to participate in the ESSEC Business School conference "Entrepreneurship in Ukraine" (field of technologies and technical ecosystem in Ukraine during the war and during reconstruction).

 WUNU students majoring in Business Communication and Translation (Inna Chornii, Yuliia Romanchak, Svitlana Kvasnytska, Olena Paranych) and Legal Journalism (Tamara Melishkevych) have started their studies under the programme "Cross-cultural analysis of social and economic development".

 West Ukrainian National University implements the "Green University" concept. Within this, the Department of Management, Public Administration and Personnel (Faculty of Economics and Management) operates the Eco-School of Public Management for Sustainable Development. This year, the "Karpaty-2022" training took place from September 30 to October 2, 2022 for undergraduate students of the "Public Management and Administration" educational programme.

 In the difficult period of challenges caused by military aggression, a characteristic feature of the activities of West Ukrainian National University is the internationalization of the education and science.

 Department of International Economics of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations has a very long tradition of cooperation with German economists. The Ukrainian-German faculty-programme has been operating for about 20 years. This is a unique programme in Ukraine for economists who, along with studying professional disciplines, can perfectly master the German language and complete a semester of study at the Technical University of Dresden (TUD) at the expense of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

 Graduates of the School of Polish and European Law 2021-2022 had a great opportunity to take part in the Warsaw Summer School 2022 "Regulacje wspyerające kompetitivność gospodarki", organized by the Allerhand Institute (Warsaw, Republic of Poland). Students attended lectures, workshops and discussions on current legal issues.

 The European Commission has announced the start of the competition for participation in the MSCA4Ukraine (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions for Ukraine) programme - a scholarship programme for Ukrainian scientists who were forced to leave their homes due to the war.

 The Department of Accounting and Taxation of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting invites everyone to join the international fair ErasmusDays, organized by a partner of West Ukrainian National University, Université Grenoble Alpes (France). The event is dedicated to English-language study programmes at the Université Grenoble Alpes and doctoral research.
