WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 A working meeting of representatives of universities of Ukraine, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Spain, and Latvia was organized by the School of Negotiations and Mediation of the Education and Research Institute of Communications.

Today, a cooperation agreement was signed between West Ukrainian National University and the Global Connective Center (USA).

 Within the scope of cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the University of Applied Sciences in Tarnow (Republic of Poland), a competitive selection is announced among WUNU teachers for week-long teaching exchange and among WUNU students for semester exchange (students majoring in Economics, Public Administration and Management, Social Work, or Ecology).

 Within the framework of the signed memorandum on cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the University of Nairobi (Republic of Kenya), a working meeting was held between the director of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations Iryna Ivashchuk, deputy director for international affairs Viktoria Homotiuk and director of the Directorate for Corporate Affairs of the University of Nairobi John Orindi and International Department Administrator Eric Chesoni.

 Oleksandra Merkushyna, a student of WUNU's Professional College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies, won a bronze medal in the individual 10 km biathlon race at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Forne-Avoltra, Italy.

 At the initiative of the European Union, with the support of the Government of Georgia and the International Baccalaureate Foundation, a new scholarship programme of the Eastern Partnership European School for the 2023/2024 academic year has been announced.

 The Women's Sprint Biathlon at the European Youth Olympic Festival took place on Tuesday, January 24 in Forne-Avoltra, Italy.

Ukrainian biathlete, Oleksandra Merkushyna, who is a student of WUNU Professional College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies won the first gold medal for the Ukrainian national team at the EYOF-2023.

 B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations is continuing its project "Public Diplomacy Studies 4.0: Expertise on Politics, Economics, Business, and Intercultural Communications".
On January 25, at 1:00 p.m., a meeting will be held with Vitaliy Zapukhlyak, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in the Western Region.

 Tamara Melishkevych, a 3rd-year journalism student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities took part in the creation of an audio book in Ukrainian based on Karolina Kolodzei's book during her semester studies at the University of Lodz.

 A memorandum of understanding was signed between West Ukrainian National University and the Foundation of the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education, New York, USA.
