WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 To the attention of students who have submitted documents for participation in the competitive selection for a semester study at the University of Applied Sciences INHOLLAND (Kingdom of the Netherlands) under the Erasmus+ programme.

The selection of students will take place on September 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Digital Resources Hall (Lvivska 11, WUNU Building 1)

 During the second day of the 12th International Conference "Advanced Computer Information Technologies", 39 reports were heard in four sections.

 At the invitation of Iryna Ivashchuk, the director of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations, Yehor Brailian (candidate of historical sciences, member of the Royal Historical Society (UK), international journalist) gave a lecture at West Ukrainian National University.

 Today marked the start of the 12th International Conference Advanced Computer Information Technologies ACIT'2022 started in the town of Spiska Kapitula (Slovakia). This year's event brought together scientists from over 40 countries. Organizers of the conference: West Ukrainian National University, Catholic University in Ružomberok (Slovakia), University of South Bohemia (Czech Republic), Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Germany), Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (Poland).

Recently, the FISU World Cup Combat Sports among students started in the city of Samsun, Turkey. Our students once again achieve sports victories on the international arena. On the second day of the competition, three students of West Ukrainian National University won medals: Anastasia Sykish and Snizhana Plish - gold, and Maria Kunevych - silver in sambo wrestling.

 The Ukrainian-Polish monograph "Communication as a factor of transparency of social interaction: psychological, historical, legal, economic and political dimensions" (edited by Dr. Jacek Mrozek - director of the Elk branch of the University of Warmia and Mazury (Poland), Oksana Koval - the director of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of WUNU, and Krystyna Ziolkowska - doctor of the Faculty of Law and Administration of UWM) is out of print.

 On September 21, the Student FISU World Cup Combat Sports began in Samsun, Turkey. On the first day, a student of West Ukrainian National University, Anastasia Sykish, won a silver medal in the sambo wrestling competition.

 The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine informs about the new call for applications. Scholarships for study, research and lecture internships in Slovakia in the summer semester of the 2022/2023 academic year are offered within the framework of the National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic.

 Tens of thousands of our defenders defend the borders of Ukraine every day. They all need attention and understanding, so even our smallest contribution is part of a great cause. Today, the university family of WUNU has gathered in the main hall of WUNU Building 1. The faculty, employees and students of the classical university of Ternopil joined forces for the "Together to Victory!" charity fair, noting that the collected funds would be allocated to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

 Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Wroclaw University of Economics (Republic of Poland) and West Ukrainian National University, WUNU postgraduate students have a chance to participate in a joint accounting and financial analysis programme.
