WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 In the difficult period of challenges caused by military aggression, a characteristic feature of the activities of West Ukrainian National University is the internationalization of the education and science.

 Department of International Economics of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations has a very long tradition of cooperation with German economists. The Ukrainian-German faculty-programme has been operating for about 20 years. This is a unique programme in Ukraine for economists who, along with studying professional disciplines, can perfectly master the German language and complete a semester of study at the Technical University of Dresden (TUD) at the expense of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

 Graduates of the School of Polish and European Law 2021-2022 had a great opportunity to take part in the Warsaw Summer School 2022 "Regulacje wspyerające kompetitivność gospodarki", organized by the Allerhand Institute (Warsaw, Republic of Poland). Students attended lectures, workshops and discussions on current legal issues.

 The European Commission has announced the start of the competition for participation in the MSCA4Ukraine (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions for Ukraine) programme - a scholarship programme for Ukrainian scientists who were forced to leave their homes due to the war.

 The Department of Accounting and Taxation of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting invites everyone to join the international fair ErasmusDays, organized by a partner of West Ukrainian National University, Université Grenoble Alpes (France). The event is dedicated to English-language study programmes at the Université Grenoble Alpes and doctoral research.

 The Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship was held recently. Students of West Ukrainian National University took part in the competition, namely: Vitalii Mandzyn, Davyd Drabyk, Taras Lesiuk, Oleksandra Merkushyna, Oleksandra Usenko, Iryna Tarasiuk and Tetiana Tarasiuk.

 On October 8, WUNU Education and Research Institute of Communications is hosting an interactive lecture "Negotiations as a special type of communication" for "Psychology" majors of the international educational and professional Master's programme of two diplomas "Psychology of negotiations and mediation" within the academic course "Fundamentals of negotiations".

 Employees of the International Relations DepartmentOffice of West Ukrainian National University took part in the conference organized by the Baltic University Programme (BUP). The event was dedicated to internationalization, sustainability and quality assurance in the cooperation and work of universities.

 "Our biggest competitors are ourselves," says Shane Ray Martin, an expert in crisis and business negotiations, head of the sales department of the American Negotiations Institute (ANI), with whom Oksana Koval, the director of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University recently had the opportunity to speak.
