New Way - your new path in business
We bow our heads in sorrow...
Our university family lost a son
It is with unspeakable sorrow and sadness that we report that Andrii Terebii, a student of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at West Ukrainian National University, was killed in fierce fighting in the town of Rubizhne. He was born on October 28, 1991 and was the same age as independent Ukraine. From the first days of the war, he went to defend our native land. He served in the 81st separate airmobile brigade, which is part of the assault troops of the Armed Forces.

At the invitation of the rector of WUNU, volunteer doctors from the USA arrived in the city
Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Daniel Smith and Dr. Sean Galbraith, representing the American humanitarian organization "August Mission", arrived in Ternopil at the invitation of the rector of the classical university Andriy Krysovatyy.
“The heroic people of Ukraine are fighting the enemy. The price of this confrontation is our statehood, our integrity, our life in an independent European country. Pain pierces our hearts, because the civilian population suffers, the best sons and daughters of our Motherland die. That is why medical care from abroad is very important now. Significant efforts must be made to save the most valuable thing - people's lives, " Andriy Ihorovych said in the conversation.
Speaking to the rector of the university Andriy Krysovatyy, they noted that they could help with medicines and medical equipment.
Volunteer doctors came here to help Ukrainian specialists. They visited the Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital: oncohematology department, neonatal intensive care unit with visiting neonatology team, neonatal pathology department, anesthesiology department with intensive care beds and operating room.
TRCH Chief doctor Hryhoriy Korytskyi spoke about the youngest patients and their problems. American doctors have expressed readiness to start working together in individual departments of the hospital and share experiences.
We truly thank Daniel Smith and Sean Galbraith for leaving families to help the children of Ukraine in such a difficult time for Ukraine.
