Last week, from October 10 to 16, the Ukrainian boxing championship among men and women under 22 years of age took place in Rivne. Students of the classical university performed successfully and won three awards.
Mini-football tournament
On the initiative of the Student Campus Council of WUNU, on October 17-18, a mini-football tournament for the Rector's Cup was held at West Ukrainian National University between students living in the dormitories.
The words of support and thunderous ovations of the fans who raged in the stands gave the players a boost and motivated them to fight for the university's main cup. According to the results of the competition, team of Residence Hall No. 5 won, Residence Hall No. 3 came in second, while footballers of Residence Hall No. 1 placed third.
Bronze awards at the championship of Ukraine in gymnastics
The championship of Ukraine in gymnastics was recently held in Kyiv. Athletes from the classical university of Ternopil joined the championship, namely: Yulia Habuda and Oksana Sokolovska, who won bronze awards in team competitions.

The Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship was held recently. Students of West Ukrainian National University took part in the competition, namely: Vitalii Mandzyn, Davyd Drabyk, Taras Lesiuk, Oleksandra Merkushyna, Oleksandra Usenko, Iryna Tarasiuk and Tetiana Tarasiuk.

According to the results of the FISU World Cup Combat Sports among students, which was held in Samsun, Turkey, West Ukrainian National University took 6th place among the 344 best universities from 50 countries of the world.

In the city of Samsun, Turkey, the FISU World Cup Combat Sports among students is underway. Athletes of West Ukrainian National University continue to compete successfully, gaining new victories. Vladyslav Yeremenko won gold in the Muay Thai boxing competition in the under 71 kg weight category, while Alina Rudnytska won silver.

Recently, the FISU World Cup Combat Sports among students started in the city of Samsun, Turkey. Our students once again achieve sports victories on the international arena. On the second day of the competition, three students of West Ukrainian National University won medals: Anastasia Sykish and Snizhana Plish - gold, and Maria Kunevych - silver in sambo wrestling.
