In the city of Kremenets, Ternopil region, the championship of Ukraine in luge sports among adults and juniors was held. According to the results of the competition, the student of West Ukrainian National University Yulianna Tunytska won three gold awards in 3 age categories, in particular: among adults, among athletes under the age of 23, and among juniors.

In Munich, the European Championships (multisport event) are underway, within which the European canoeing championship took place.
A student of West Ukrainian National University, Serhii Tarnovskyi, won the silver medal in the 500 m race among men.

Recently, the World Championships in kayaking and canoeing ended in Halifax, Canada. The Ukrainian national team won five awards: two gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
With a result of 23:37.85 for 5000 m, the student of West Ukrainian National University, Serhii Tarnovskyi, became the world champion.

WUNU is at the TOP at the European University Games
The volleyball team of West Ukrainian National University entered the TOP-6 universities at the European University Games in Lodz. On July 17, our girls beat the Masaryk University (Czech Republic) with a score of 3:1, and on July 18, they won against a university from Munich by 3:0. Thus, in the second group stage, our team will play with universities from Bologna and Zagreb.
