Savings Week 2024

 As part of the Savings Week 2024, teachers of the S.I. Yuriy Department of Finance of West Ukrainian National University continue to hold educational events aimed at developing financial literacy and shaping the financial culture of Ukrainian youth.



WUNU students visited the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service

 Within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service and the Department of Management, Public Administration and Personnel (Head of the Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honoured Economist of Ukraine Mykhailo Shkilniak) The students of West Ukrainian National University visited a branch of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service.



Meeting with representatives of Barristers Attorneys at Law

 At the invitation of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, a guest lecture was delivered by the partner of Barristers Attorneys at Law, attorney Oleksandr Shadrin and attorney Iryna Kuzina (Kyiv).



Savings Week at WUNU is here!

 The history of World Savings Day began in Milan, when in October 1924, representatives of savings banks from 29 countries gathered for the First International Savings Bank Congress. 31 October 1924 was the last day of the congress, where Italian professor Filippo Ravizza proposed to celebrate this day as ‘World Savings Day’ every year. Since then, many countries around the world have been celebrating this day, and this year, World Savings Day celebrates its 100th anniversary.



Practical classes for journalism students

 Journalism students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University took part in a live broadcast on Ukh Radio and told the audience why they chose the Legal Journalism study programme.



Fifty sponsored remote internships for students

 Virtual Internships, as part of the Twinning initiative, offers students the opportunity to take part in remote internships sponsored by the company. This opportunity will give students a chance to intern with international companies and gain the professional experience and skills needed to develop in a rapidly changing global economy, as well as to contribute to projects related to the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.



WUNU students conducted field research

 Faculty members of the Department of Ecology and Health Care of the Education and Research Institute of Innovation, Nature Management and Infrastructure of West Ukrainian National University together with students majoring in 101 "Ecology" took samples of surface waters of the Ikva River as part of the "Environmental Monitoring" course.



WUNU students won the MIND Battle

 Recently, Volodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University organised a large-scale student intellectual event, MIND Battle, in Ternopil. Teams from all Ternopil universities took part in the competition.



WUNU student Olha Lebedovych is a promoter of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine

 Olha Lebedovych, a student of the educational and professional programme ‘International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies’ (group MVSK-31), brand ambassador of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Bohdan Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations, recently attended a meeting within the framework of the K-supporters 2024 UA programme implemented by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine.



Environmental School of Public Administration for Sustainable Development ‘Carpathians-2024’

 Implementation of the Green University concept is part of the Development Strategy of West Ukrainian National University. The Environmental School of Public Administration for Sustainable Development has been operating at the Department of Management, Public Administration and Personnel since 2021 to implement the concept in practice.
