General information
As a result of the very fierce competition selection of Erasmus + projects, the ALIOT - Internet of Things project was selected: the Emerging Curriculum for Industry and Human Applications, which is a member of the department of the Institute of Intellectual Computer Systems of TNEU (Prof. A. Sachenko, Assoc. Bulls and others). The project grant amount is 816.72 thousand euros, the project starts on October 15, 2016, and is designed for 3 years.
The name of the ALIOT project is a reduction from the official name "Internet of Things: Emerging Curriculum for Industry and Human Applications".
The goal of the ALIOT project is to provide research in a new area of the Internet of Things (IoT) in accordance with the needs of modern society; bring universities closer to changes in the global labor market in ICT and world education; To give students an idea of the different job profiles in different areas of the IoT.
The project's technical objectives include the implementation of specific goals: the development of curricula for specific disciplines of the IOT for the preparation of masters and doctors of philosophy, laboratory workshops, for example, the implementation of IOT technologies for environmental monitoring, the needs of medicine, the development of intellectual ICTs such as "smart home", "autonomous car ", IOT in cyber-physics systems and other technologies. It is envisaged to create a multi-domain IoT cluster network with broad user access that will openly provide access to training materials, techniques and tools for providing training and consulting services in the field of IoT systems for various applications: human, security, business, and technology needs. The network will be a tool for sharing knowledge, will help raise public awareness of the latest achievements of the IoT, concepts, technology and applications.
