Dear Rector Krysovatyy, dear Colleagues,
It is with great concern that we follow the news about the ongoing war in Ukraine. On behalf of the authorities and the entire academic community of the University of Economics in Katowice I would like to express our support and solidarity. Since the beginning of our cooperation, West Ukrainian National University has been a valuable partner and friend of UE Katowice.
Ukrainian students are the largest group of foreign students pursuing higher education at our University, therefore it is of utmost importance for us to provide them and their families, who are seeking refuge in Poland, with long-term and multidimensional assistance. As part of the University's website we have launched a special platform where all information about available forms of support is published and through which actions taken by our academic community to help Ukraine are coordinated.
I would like to assure you that students and staff of West Ukrainian National University can count on our help and support in every aspect. In order to facilitate contact with those in need of help, we have created a special email address to which you can direct all your questions and the required assistance: ukraina@ue.
We all hope that the war will end soon and that we will be able to continue our partnership with your University in times of peace. We stand with you!
